Warsaw: Tour to Krakow

Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Warsaw, traveling comfortably by coach to Krakow, a distance of about 3.5 hours. Once you arrive in Krakow, your expert guide will take you through the city’s rich history, starting with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town, one of the best-preserved medieval city centers in Europe. You’ll stroll along the cobblestone streets, admire the beautiful architecture, and learn about the city’s fascinating past.

The first major stop will be the Main Market Square, the heart of Krakow’s Old Town and one of the largest medieval squares in Europe. Here, you will see the iconic Cloth Hall, a bustling marketplace dating back to the 14th century, as well as St. Mary’s Basilica, a stunning Gothic church known for its magnificent altarpiece by Veit Stoss. Your guide will also tell you about the famous Hejnał Mariacki trumpet signal, played from the tower of St. Mary’s Basilica every hour.

Next, you will head towards Wawel Hill, home to the historic Wawel Castle and Wawel Cathedral. The castle, once the residence of Polish kings, is a symbol of the country’s royal history and national pride. You will visit the Royal Chambers, the State Rooms, and the Royal Cathedral, where many Polish monarchs were crowned and buried.
