Continuing our journey along Futoška Street, we make our way to Matica Srpska, one of Serbia’s oldest and most esteemed cultural institutions. Established in 1826, Matica Srpska boasts a vast collection of books, manuscripts, and artwork, offering insights into the country’s literary and artistic heritage. Inside its hallowed halls, we marvel at rare manuscripts, intricate paintings, and priceless artifacts, immersing ourselves in the rich cultural tapestry of Serbia.
