Watching the Northern Lights from the middle of the ocean was something I’ll never forget. The views of the coastline, the stillness of the water, and the glowing auroras overhead created a truly surreal experience. The crew was helpful, the boat was warm and comfortable, and the guide provided fascinating insights into the science behind the lights. A must-do if you’re in Reykjavik in winter!
This was a relaxing and enriching night. We drove out into the quiet countryside, away from city lights, and learned so much about the stars while waiting for the auroras. They appeared faintly, but the atmosphere and guiding made the whole experience special. Perfect for those who love astronomy and nature combined.
Even if we hadn’t seen the Northern Lights (which we did!), the stargazing experience alone was worth it. The skies were incredibly clear, and our guide used a laser pointer to show us constellations and share ancient myths. Seeing the auroras shimmer in the background felt like a dream.
