A great way to experience Hungarian wine culture without going too far from Budapest! The Monor wine region is small but full of character, and we visited some beautifully preserved wine cellars. The tastings were generous, and I especially loved trying some rare Hungarian grape varieties. My only wish was for a little more time to explore the vineyards, but overall, it was a wonderful and well-organized trip.
