The Budapest Soviet Shooting Package provides a unique opportunity to try some of the most iconic Soviet-era firearms, giving you a hands-on experience that you’ve likely only seen in movies or read about in history books. Whether you’re a gun enthusiast, history buff, or simply seeking an adrenaline-pumping adventure, this activity offers a rare chance to feel the power of these legendary weapons in a safe and professional setting.
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a friendly team of range masters who will ensure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the experience. The session begins with a comprehensive safety briefing, where you’ll learn about the guns you’ll be handling, the proper techniques for shooting, and the safety protocols of the range. All necessary safety equipment, such as ear and eye protection, will be provided to ensure a secure environment for everyone.
The experience includes firing a selection of famous Soviet firearms, each with its own unique history and feel. The VZ Scorpion 61, known for its compact design, is a personal defense weapon that you’ll start with, offering 20 rounds to warm up your aim. Next, you’ll move on to the PPSH-41, a classic submachine gun from World War II with 15 shots, offering a rapid-fire taste of history. The legendary AK-47, perhaps the most recognized assault rifle in the world, comes next, with 7 powerful rounds to test your precision.
For those seeking an extra challenge, you’ll try the AKSU, a shorter and more compact variant of the AK-47, with 7 shots that demand control and accuracy. Then, step up to the DP-28, the Soviet light machine gun, where you’ll experience the force of two heavy shots. Finally, round off your adventure with the Saiga-12, a semi-automatic shotgun that delivers 4 massive shots, capping off your session with a burst of adrenaline.
Throughout the activity, your range master will be by your side, ensuring you handle each firearm properly, guiding you with tips, and adjusting your technique if needed. Even if you’ve never shot a gun before, you’ll feel at ease as your instructor walks you through every step, ensuring a safe and exciting experience.
The range is indoors, so you won’t need to worry about the weather affecting your experience. With everything provided—from expert guidance to safety equipment—all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and curiosity.
