Our first stop is the charming village of Njegusi, renowned as the birthplace of Petar Petrovic Njegos, a revered figure in Montenegrin history. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a family-owned smokehouse and sample a selection of local specialties, including smoked ham (Njeguski prsut), flatbread (Lepinja), and cheese (Njeguski Sir). Indulge in the flavors of Montenegro as you enjoy a light lunch accompanied by local wine and brandy (Loza or Rakija).

After our culinary adventure in Njegusi, we’ll journey back to Kotor along the stunning serpentine road, offering plenty of photo opportunities along the way. Once in Kotor, embark on a walking tour through the maze of the town’s medieval quarter, exploring its bustling market, Renaissance buildings, and well-preserved fortified walls. Highlights of the tour include a visit to the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, renowned for its 14th-century frescoes and valuable treasury, as well as the Maritime Museum of Kotor, showcasing the region’s rich maritime history.
