Bucharest: Tour to Bulgaria, the Beauties of Nature

Your day begins with a convenient hotel pick-up in Bucharest, and comfortable transportation leads you into Bulgaria. Ensure you have your passport, as you’ll be crossing the border to explore the wonders of nature in Bulgaria.

First on the itinerary is the Orlova Chuka Cave, the second longest cave in Bulgaria with a length of 13,437 meters. Discovered in 1941, this cave is home to 14 species of bats. Enjoy a guided tour and marvel at the unique formations of this cave.

Next, venture to the Krushunskiye Waterfalls, featuring a main waterfall around 20 meters high that splits into several smaller ones along its descent. Follow a path that allows you to explore the cascades, pools, and mossy rocks, with bridges providing picturesque views.

The journey concludes at the Devetashka Cave, a large karst cave with a rich history of human occupation and serving as a habitat for nearly 30,000 bats. Explore the spacious hall with openings that allow daylight to illuminate the interior.

Please note that from November to April, Orlova Chuka Cave is closed to facilitate bat reproduction. During this period, the tour will include a visit to Basarbovo Monastery.
